青島數控插床具有滑枕往復運動的液壓傳動機構與工作臺液壓進給裝置?；碓诿看涡谐讨兴俣炔蛔?，滑枕運動速度與工作臺的移動均可作無級調整。液壓操縱臺具有對滑枕換向給油的換向機構，工作臺除有液壓與手動進給外，尚且有單獨電動機傳動的縱向、橫向與回轉的快速移動。采用液壓進給的插床，是當工作結束轉返回的瞬間進給，因此優于機械插床采用的鼓輪進給。
